


Narrative, music videos, commercials and documentary



Ruben Wijnheijmer is a cinematographer based in Tilburg, working in the Netherlands, Belgium and internationally. His most recent narrative work is the short film Riffel (dir. Yentl Vlachos, Reye Films), selected for CineSud's Dutch Film Talents to Cannes 2026 and screened at HollyFest, Los Angeles; it follows Wetboy, Vlachos's debut short. The two have been making films and music videos together for more than five years. His music-video work includes videos for Sefa, Eefje de Visser, Roxy Dekker, Within Temptation, Metejoor, Yves Berendse, Blanks, Zoë Livay and K3, with directors Yentl Vlachos, Pavel Trebukhin, Lisette Vlassak, Auke Brinkman, Keanu Haumahu and Johan Verhoeven, for Reye Films, Dark Matter and Studio 100. For brands he has shot Tommy Hilfiger, Schiphol, HelloFresh, Essent and Vakgarage, with Menno de Geest, Toon Donders and JW Schram at Popcorn Stories and GIG Creative. What draws him in is people: how they move, how they live, and how where they come from shapes the story.
